We had a great time out at a new restaurant - Flippin Out. Awesome hamburgers and a menu reminiscent of a small diner. It is a little loud in the restaurant and can feel tiny and cramped. But, the food is fresh and good, reasonably priced, has character - and is near the house.
I made the birthday cake. Soooo embarrassing. Cannot believe how this crater appeared - so I fixed it with a second container of frosting and some sprinkles. We had to light the candles 3 times - so each child got a chance to blow them out. Grandma only got sprayed on once during the process - by Joshua.
We will try and work on keeping up with the blog. We have just been so overwhelmed and busy it just has not made the list of things to do. But I miss having a chance to re-cap the day and share some of our stories. So we will try harder!
